Touching the hearts of those in need…
Ever since Dr. Pankaj Naram was a young man and kicked out of his own home, he has known what it means to be in need. Sleeping under bridges and on the streets of Mumbai, shivering with cold and loneliness, he almost gave up hope. Then one night as he was sleeping a stranger covered him with a blanket and totally changed his life forever. He wondered how someone could show him so much kindness when that person did not even know him. As hard as he tried to find out who it was that helped him, so he could thank them, he never could discover their identity. It was just a stranger with a good heart that couldn’t bear to see another suffer. From that point on, Dr. Naram committed to using his life to help as many others in need as possible.
Later in his life, Dr. Naram learned through his work with Saint Mother Teresa the meaning of true love and service.
Seva in Sanskrit means “selfless service” – which is the heart of this foundation.
The Dr. Pankaj Naram Seva Foundation is dedicated to helping in the following areas:
– injured animals
– orphans
– protecting at-risk forest areas with precious herbs
– preserving ancient texts and Sanskrit scrolls with healing secrets in them, and translating them for benefit of the world
– homeless
– helping people in natural disasters

**NEWS UPDATE – “LOVE BRACELETS” PROJECT FROM NEPAL ORPHANS FOR HURRICANE HARVEY VICTIMS**
When the devastating earthquakes struck in Nepal, Dr. Naram was actually in Kathmandu. He saw one of the orphanages that crumbled to the ground, and his foundation quickly organized an effort to raise money from people around the world to help rebuild the orphanage.
One of the families that helped the most came from Houston. Ashlyn Holleman made over 200 cupcakes raising money. Her brother Jayden, cousin Sergio, mother Marie, and other family members helped raise money through bake sales, bouncy castle parties, and silent auctions. They were able to contribute with others who raised enough money to rebuild the entire orphanage, even better than before!
A few months later, they were able to go to Nepal and meet the kids they were helping and formed a friendship that can not be broken. They did school work together, worked together, danced together, became Facebook friends, and at the end made bracelets they exchanged as a token of their friendship and love for each other.
Now with the devastation striking Houston, these orphan kids in Nepal want to give back to their friends in Houston who helped them.
They have created a project, through the Dr. Pankaj Naram Seva Foundation, called “Love Bracelets” – where if you donate to help the victims of the hurricanes, you can choose to have the money will go to getting the people who need it most food and clean water, and you can get a bracelet from the orphan kids, that every time you wear you can remember how much you are loved!
When the earthquake struck, one of the things they needed most was clean water and food. From their friends in Houston, they discovered this was one of the needs there too.
When you donate through this Paypal link, you will be supporting these Nepal orphan kids in being able to help buy clean water and food for the victims of the Hurricane in Houston – and you will be able to choose to either receive or gift to someone else a bracelet made by these kids to remind you how much you are loved:
